Continue Story (I copy and paste from internet) - Chapter 6 - 'DRACO, LOVE'
CHAPTER 6
“To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing them again?” Hermione questioned. She involuntarily directed her question to Kendra, wondering why she felt like she was having a somewhat civilized conversation with her.
“I guess you’re just lucky that way,” Malfoy sneered. His comment earned him a glare from Kendra and he abruptly stopped talking, but keeping his arm around her.
“Hermione Granger, we have a proposition for you,” Kendra stated proudly. “I understand your anger towards us. I was less than hospitable to you only moments ago and I do apologize. But Draco and I and…Severus do not have time for pleasantries.” It was odd to hear someone refer to him as Draco with such obvious affection and Hermione found herself wondering how their relationship had come to be. Kendra drew away from him and Draco’s arm tensed visibly in longing as she did. Then Kendra was sitting beside Hermione on the sofa. “You will have to trust us.”
Hermione stared at her, slightly taken aback by her closeness. “That’s too bad then,” she spat. “Because I don’t. And it’s highly unlikely that I ever will.” Hermione noticed the annoyance in Malfoy’s gaze as she spoke. He clucked his tongue loudly and he and Kendra exchanged a meaningful look.
“You bring me down here,” Hermione continued, “give me some cryptic message that I’ll have to trust you and you have a proposition for me. You haven’t even elaborated on that!”
“If you would stop ranting,” Snape put in, “we might be able to tell you why we brought you here.” Kendra shot him a look as well, this one filled with hatred, much different from the one she had sent Malfoy’s way.
Kendra nodded understandingly.
She raised her hand and Hermione’s wand appeared in her fingers. Not speaking, she held the wand out to Hermione. “Kendra,” Malfoy said, warning in his tone.
“She won’t do anything, love,” Kendra assured him, briefly glancing his way before looking to Hermione again. “Because if she did, then I would have to use force against her… and my force is proven to be lethal.” She narrowed her eyes at Hermione, telling her to take her wand. Hermione reached out and snatched it from Kendra’s fingers, more comfortable with it in her hand.
“Now, Hermione Granger,” Kendra said, her voice returning to its light and airy quality. “The proposition we have for you is one that we are very sure you would be interested in. It involves the Dark Lord and what we are doing to stop him.”
