Continue Story (I copy and paste from internet) - Chapter 25 - 'YOU WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO MEAN THIS MUCH TO ME, DRAMIONE'

CHAPTER 25

Draco rested at the oak table. His hands folded in his lap, his eyes on the people around him.

The air was stiff, no one was speaking, barley breathing.

The stranger was at the head table tapped his fingers. They were boney and white, some eyes shifted towards them. All wondering how they got that way.

Kelley however was calm, she looked bored. She was drumming her fingernails as well. Her eyes looking at the chandelier, day dream about god knows what.

Lucius was white as the snow outside, fearing of what to say, wondering if he should say anything at all.

“Lucius?”

“So much for wondering.” He thought to himself as his eyes shifted towards the stranger. He gulped, his mouth was dry. “Yes My Lord?”

Tom Marvolo Riddle pulled his hood back, reveling a frighting sight.

Voldemort was “the Stranger.”

“I’ve been told your son has not killed his Mudblood wife. And that she has vanishes into thin air.”

Lucius glanced at his son. “Yes my Lord….someone seemed to have given her the slip…at the moment she is being sought out. It will only be a matter of time.”

Voldemonrt slammped his fight down, making everyone jump.

Kelley smirked.

“We do no have time! My daughter has been paticent; she has waited for almost a year for your son! This marriage will be taken place soon! The month of the moon’s magic is arriving!!! We cannot risk this chance, for it only comes around once every 400 years!!”

He slammed his fist again.

“I know, I know I am ever so sorry my Lord!” Lucius head was bowed now.

“I’m sick of these excuses; they will be married! You and I both know what needs to be done. The magic will not work without the both of them. Come Kelley!”

Kelley was on her feet now, pulling her cloak over her shoulders. With a quick kiss on Draco’s cheek she vanished with her father.

Everyone was breathless, fearing what to do or say next.

“Draco?”

He ignored his father.

Lucius had his elbows on the table, his head in his hands. “Draco?!”

He turned towards his father now. A dull expression on his face. “Yes father?”

“You heard the Lord; I would get a move on, if I were you!”

It was cold, colder than she had ever experiences. A scratcy blanket was wrapped around her head to toe. Cuddling with herself to keep warm.

She sniffled, wiping her nose.

“I hate you Malfoy. I hope you fall off the mountains near by and die a slow and painful death!” She whispered into the darkroom.

“Ouch!”

Hermione turned towards the kitchen door. “Your words are colder than the weather outside!” The blonde hair boy laughed placeing down a brown paper bag.

“You idiot!” She muttered. “I have been freezing for the last six days!”

Draco walked over to the firepit, he started to kindle it, and soon flames appeared. “Come over here and sit down.”

“No.”

“Fine.” The Slytherin replied in a snotty tone.

“I hate you!” She muttered once more, moving closeing to the flames. The heat welcomed her; she began to relax a bit. “I cannot believe you left me here without a wand! I could have died out here!”

“Nah, you are too cooky to die.”

She snorted, pulling the blanket around her more. “You are too cold hearted to die.”

“Hey now be nice.” He was rummaging through the bag, pulling out a few food supplies.

Her eyes were on him; his back was turned to her. He seemed somewhat happy with himself.

“I was wondering, what are you going to tell people?”

“Tell them what?” His back still turned away from her.

“What happen to me? Surely someone will noitce, Harry is by almost everyday, I’m positive he will know something is wrong. And what about my job? They are expecting me back after Christmas.”

“I told your boss you have taken vacation with your parents in France. I told them you guys deicde to make up and your Uncle Huge is terribly sick. So your family is attending him in his time of need. And not mention a word to anyone, for you are very upset for the time being. And for Potter? I don’t really care what he thinks.”

“I don’t have an Uncle Huge and I care what Harry thinks!”

“He’s an idiot; he is way too obsessed with you.”

Hermione pushed her busy hair out of her face, getting a better view. “No he’s not; he is my best friend He is there for me more than you are.”

Rolling his eyes, Draco started to put a few things away, wondering when the fight would break out. “If you say so.”

“How is he obsessed with me?”

“Oh come on, he has been after you since the day we started to talk again.

“Has not!”

“Has too! A few days after I left he all over you, telling you to move on.”

“No he- wait a minute…how did you know?”

He shrugged his shoulders.

“No, no, how would you know? Unless….you were spying on me!” She was pointing her finger at him. “Werent you?!”

“So what if I was? I saw how he jumped on you and started to get friendly with you. Then I saw you two running around the Alley, he’s been trying win your affection.”

“How would you….wait you knocked over the books that were on the dresser.”

He rolled his eyes, turning away from her again.

An awkward moment was apond them now.

“Well I better get going; I’ll be back in a few days.”

“Wait.” She was on her feet now, following him once more.

“Can you at least tell me where I am? Or what is going on? I hate this.”

“Honestly I’m not sure where we are, this is an adbandon house muggles used to live in. It’s in the middle of no where, so don’t try to run off.”

“I can’t even if I wanted too; you put spells all around the house.” Hermione bit her lower lip. “Yes I tried to leave….”

“Everyone is looking for you, they all have decovered you some how got the slip and have vanished. So it is best you stay hidden for a while. Now stay here, don’t try to leave again, and whatever you do, don’t cause attention to youself. Got it?”

“Yes father.”

He gave her a stupid look. ‘Here you can have you wand…but…if you do anything with it, like try to break enchatments, I’ll take it back. Remember Death Eaters can find any powerful spell you cast. So use less magic as possible.”

“Okay, okay, I got it.”

“See you later.” With one last look Draco was gone.

Nine redheads were running around the Burrow, all with excitement and glee. Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen, Ginny right by her side. Bill and Charlie were playing exploding snap, both furious when the other one won. Percy had his head stuck in a book; the letters on the front was too worn out to descript. Fred and George were in the corner talking over a piece of parchment, both trying their best to make sure their mother wouldn’t see. Mr. Weasly was at the kitchen table, pondering over the Daily Prophet.

Ron, Harry and Luna were sitting by the fire, each one had a mug in their hand.

Luna had become the ‘new Hermione.’ Well to Ronald at least.

Harry looked a bit horrified with this whole shrade. No one seemed to care that Hermione was gone; missing. No one but him. His heart was breaking his ribs with each beat, thinking back to when he first found out she vanished. He knew Malfoy had something to do with it, there was no way she would ever leave on her own. Well…at least not without telling him.

“Everyone come to the kitchen.” Mrs. Weasley bellowed, her voice full of cheer.

The family and friends gather around the tiny table all smiling, all except Harry.

“Tonight shall be a wonderful evening. Our family is together and Harry and Luna are here. Everything is perfect.” Mrs. Weasley raised her arms, taking in the atmosphere nothing could destroy this for her; for them.

“I cannot believe you, all of you!” Harry pushed his seat back, a rumbling sound came from the legs of the chair. “Hermione Granger is missing! Do none of you see this?” He looked at each face.

Blank

“How could you; everyone of you believe those stupid rumors over her?! Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Hermione has been like your second daughter.”

The husband and wife looked at each other then back towards Harry.

“Ginny.” She turned towards him now, her eyes blazing. “Hermione has been like your sister and best friend, always there for you whenever you needed her.”

Her face fell, thinking of memories.

“Bill, Hermione has always been gentle and kind towards you, helping you with work. Charlie, Hermione always, always helped you with your burns and cuts. Always thinking of new ways to get rid of the scars.”

Bill and Charlie shook their heads.

“Fred and George, Hermione never approved of your scandals. But didn’t she always save your guys butts from getting expelled. Didn’t she keep your guy’s secrets, and even help you hide your crazy stash of tricks? Percy, didn’t Hermione defend you every time you tried to prove your point? Didn’t she help you see the better side and help open your mind to new possibilities?” He turned towards Luna. “Luna, Hermione was like your sister as well, she was always there for you, even with your crazy imagination.”

The twins, Luna and Percy dropped their eyes as well.

‘And Ron, Hermione is not only mine, but your best friend as well. She has been with us since the start, she is the joy and life of our friendship. Countless times she has saved us, helped with things we didn’t understand. She even did our homework!! She was our sister as well, and you let her down.”

Harry’s was breathing fast now, his heart pounding faster. “You all gave up on her, and I was/am the only one who stood by her side. You all say you loved her and cared, but none of you really did. Because….” His voice was breaking now. “Because if you really were, none of you would of left her, none of you would of tossed her aside.”

Then it hit him like a ton of bricks, this was all his fault. Here he was accusing them of not caring for her, but he is the one who made them disown her. Sure at the time it seemed like the right thing to do. But he stood here, here without her. What progress was he making?

“I need to go.” He quickly turned towards the door, the Weasleys and Luna all watched him leave, speechless.

The moon was out tonight shinning bright, Slytherin and Gryffindor were both looking out the window. Each lost in their own thoughts. Lately Draco was appearing at the Mountain cabin more than necessary. Hermione believed it was because he was feeling guilty. Why shouldn’t he? He is the one that took her away from any kind of social life.

Draco’s eyes reflected the moon, cringing he tried his best to look at constellations. He wasn’t ready to be married for real. At least not to an evil dictator.

“I think I’m going to bed.” Hermione slowly rose to her feet, her hand on her head. She groaned.

“What’s wrong?”

She let out a deep sigh, “nothing really my head is just killing me. I can feel my brain pounding.”

“Then you should go to sleep, I need to get back anyways. I’ll see you in the morning.”

Hermione didn’t bother to watch him leave. The pain was getting to her, the room started to spin. With her arms out stretched she fumbled for the bed.

Hermione was running, running hard. Her breath was going short, she was wheezing. Her head was spinning. The forest was getting thicker by the second. Branches scratched her face, leaving marks on her pale skin. The moon was her only light, but I was shrinking away. Someone was screaming now. Wait it was her…she was screaming…..

“I’m right here!” A voice called out.

She was pushing the leaves out of the way. Ramming into a few tree trunks.

“Stop! I’m right here!”

She couldn’t breath, everything was melting away. The moon, the starless sky, even the evil forest.

“Hermione wake up please!”

Her eyes snapped open, she was in a cold sweat. Someone was hovering over her, her vision was going in and out. “Draco?” She muttered, her voice was weak.

“I’m right here, Hermione you’re burning up!”

A cold hand swept over forehead, it felt good on her hot skin.

“I need to take you to St. Mungo’s!” He pulled the covers around her, lifting her in his arms,

Hermione started to protest. Wiggling to get away, mumbling unknown words.

“POP”

A few Healers were running towards the couple.

“What happen?” A thin young women asked.

“Its my wife I think she is sick!”

“Follow me sir.”

The young women led them into a room. Draco placed her down on the bed. Hermione started to scream now. The pain was getting to her.

“Sir we need to ask you to leave please.”

Draco shook his head. “No I’m not leaving her!”

“I’m sorry but we cannot have you in the room. Its for her safety and your own. Now please!” She shoved him out the door.

He took one last glance.

Her arm was out stretched towards him, tears in her eyes, begging him to come back.

Right there he felt his heart break.
