Continue story (I copy and paste from internet) – Chapter 20 - 'SAYING GOODBYE IS THE HARDEST THING (DRACO/HERMIONE)’

CHAPTER 20

Draco didn’t turn up for dinner, or the next three lessons. When Hermione, Harry and Ron reached the Common Room that night, he wasn’t there either, and Harry said the next day he wasn’t in the boy’s dorm. Hermione preyed she would see him at breakfast, but he wasn’t there. Hermione preyed she would find someone who had seen him, but no one had. And by the end of that day, she was more miserable then ever. She paced slowly around the Common Room, wringing her hands.

“What if Voldemorts got him?”

A couple of people sitting close by looked up suddenly. Vicky Morris dropped her quill and her inkpot feel onto the floor, splattering ink up her robes and up the side of the chair. Her friend started to choke on a Pumpkin Pasty.

“Yeah, Hermione!” Ginny said sarcastically, “Like he’s really gonna run into the school, grab Draco and run off again.

Hermione muttered a swear word at Ginny under her breath, and continued to pace.

“What if…”

“HERMIONE!” Ron, Harry and Ginny shouted together.

“Shut up!” Ron said.

“We’ve had enough of your ranting and raving.” Harry declared.

Ginny nodded, “If anything bad happens to him, we’ll come run and help you, OK, but until then, just stay put…”

“How can I stay put, Ginny!” Hermione screamed, causing more people to turn and stare, “The love of my life is gone and I don’t know whether I’ll ever see him again!”

“Chill Hermione! Lets just chill.” Dean Thomas laughed from across the room.

Hermione glared at him, “I’m going to bed.”

She grabbed her bag from the side of her abandoned chair and pressed her fingers to her forehead as she climbed the stairs. People had told her not to stress about Draco, that he would be fine, but little did they know how much Hermione did have to panic…
