Draco made an attempt to go to the girls dormitory, and failed miserably. The stairs changed into a hill and he slid down, but no stairs would make Draco Malfoy a fool. "Those stairs wont know which whey there going!"Draco said grabbing a broom which conveniently had been laying around the common room and flew up the stairs. He walked into the girls dormitory carefully. "Rikku!"Draco hissed. He looked at the faces. A look of panic struck his face. Rikku was not there. Hermione's eyes snapped open and she sat up staring at Draco with a confused frown. Hermione stood up in her night gown and walked past Draco into the common room, Draco followed. "What are you doing here?"Hermione demanded. "Look Granger I need to find Rikku! Fast! I had a dream she was dead, and now she's not in her dormitory!"Draco cried.
"Draco,"said Hermione with a long sigh. "Rikku is a Slythern. So isn't Anthony,"Hermione said rolling her eyes. Draco's jaw dropped. Had he been so stupid? Was Rikku in fact a slytherin? He wished he could remember the sorting, but he had been so distracted this year with the founders and, how could he forget which house Rikku was in? Was he losing his mind? Were these dreams warping his mind? "Oh,"said Draco going red. "Right then, I'll just be going then,"Draco said. "Goodbye Malfoy,"said Hermione shaking her head letting out a small laugh. Draco left the common room.
"Bye,"said the fat lady giving Draco a wink. Draco ran. He was making his way to Slytherin common room when he heard voices. "One of the students? Poppy you think the vampire is one of the students!?"cried Minerva McGonagall. Draco peeked around the corner. The school nurse, McGonagall, Dumbledore, and the defense against the dark arts teacher Milinday were standing there. "Yes I do,"said Poppy gravely. "Who could it be, Surely it wasn't on purpose?"said Minerva putting her hand over her heart. "I don't know. It had to be intentional, the mark that the killer made, this was no accident,"said Madam Pomfrey. "We cant let this happen again,"said Madom Pomfrey. "Was it her?"Mcgonagall asked slowly. "No, her teeth are to small compared to the bite. Luna Lovegood did not do this,"said Madam Pomfrey. Draco's eyes widened. "She's the only student recorded to be a vampire,"said Dumbledore. "Which means it's not a student,"said McGonagall. "Not exactly true professor,"said Dumbledore. Draco felt as if he had been hit. Balin.
