"Dam.n you Malfoy!"Ron said with a sigh. "I win!"said Draco with a smirk. Muttering they put down the cards in search for another thing of entertainiment. They settled on exploding snap. Balin joined in as they taught him how to play. "I don't want to start classes tomorrow,"Ron said with a sigh. "The christmas holidays are just not long enough,"Rikku said leaning back looking out the window as snow drifted down. She walked over and looked out at the snowy wonderland frowning seeing two figures down, by the forest. She couldn't make out who they were but they appeared to be argueing. One waving their arms around frantically, the two figures were walking fast. "What is it Ku?"asked Anthony walking over."Nothing, i'm just being nosy,"said Rikku with a smile. After a little while, the group went to bed.
Harry ran in late for defense against the dark arts. Snape had kept him after in potions to clean the green sludge off the walls that Neville's potion had made. He took a seat next to Rikku and Anthony. Hermione and Ron were in front of him and Draco and Jess behind. Across the room Tom was there talking to Jessie,Erika, Crabbe, Goyle, Knott, and a few other Slytherins Harry didn't know. "Your late,"Hermione said with a small smile. "Snape,"Harry muttered and he looked at Draco. "Where is Balin?"He asked. "He's in Ginny's year. She's keeping an eye on him,"Draco said and he smiled as if there was something very funny about it. The door opened and Professor.Milinday walked in. Her light blue eyes scanned the students. Her dark black hair traveled down to her shoulders. "Sorry i'm late,"she said with a warm smile.
"I am your new defense against the dark arts teacher, obviously. It seems you students have had a wide rage of different teachers,"she said waving her wand as books passed themselves out. "Attention students,"said McGonagall's voice, loud enough for the whole school to hear. "You will evacuate your classes and go to your common room imediantly. Prefects will make sure everyone in their house is their, teachers meet in the great hall." Muttering went through out the class. Milinday frowned looking concerned. "The last time they did this was in our second year, when people were getting stunned,"said Harry with a frown. "It must be serious,"Rikku said nervously.
