An hour later Snape walked into the common room his black eyes scanning his students. "A student has been killed,"He said. Muttering went through the crowd of Slytherins. "It was Edna Bawlish, a 5th year Ravenclaw student. She was killed by a vampire in the forbidden forest."Snape said. More muttering went through the crowd. "The rules have been made tighter. There will be absolutely no going near the forbidden forest, at all. Students arent even allowed near the lake,"Snape said and ignored the groans from his students. "Silence."He said. The students fell silent. "Students are not allowed to travel alone outside the castle and students are not allowed to leave their houses until tomorrow and classes will resume as normal. I implore you all to use your heads,"Snape snapped and exited.
"Edna Bawlish?"said Jessica looking thoughtful. "Never met her,"Jessica said. "I don't want to stay in the common room until tomorrow,"Draco said with a groan. "Whats the matter Malfoy, cant sit still?"said a sarcastic and cold voice. Draco, Jessica, and Balin turned to see Tom, Erika, and Jessie. Three against three. "Voldyshorts,"Draco said. Tom let out a soft growl. "How dare you!"He hissed. Jessie put a hand on Tom's shoulder. Tom appeared to calm down. "Missing something Malfoy?"He said with a taunting grin. "Not that I know of,"Draco said looking at Tom curiously. "Why, did you sink so low as the common petty theif?"Draco asked. Tom rolled his eyes. "Come on,"he said to Erika and Jessie and the trio walked to the other side of the room. Draco frowned.
"Malfoy I will kill you!"Ron snarled. Draco chuckled. The group were in the room of requirements eating breakfast. Soon they would have to split up and go to classes, but for now they could talk about Edna's death and what it meant. Ron was glaring darkly at Kaida. Kaida shot fire at Ron and Ron ducked. "I think she's adorable,"Draco said. "I do too,"Hermione cooed. Ron rolled his eyes. "I never met the poor girl myself,"Ginny said bringing the conversation back to Edna Bawlish and her strange killing. "Could just be an accident. Things do happen, doesn't mean we have crisis on our hands,"said Draco and he looked at his watch. He swore. "We have to go to classes,"he said standing up. The group went their seperate ways. Jessica to Arithmancy, Harry, Ron, Rikku, Hermione, and Draco to care of magical creatures, Ginny and Balin to Transfiguration for 6th years, and poor Anthony to potions for 1st years. Ron carried Kaida in his pocket, having a bad feeling about it.
