Jessica scowled. "I can't believe not one of them joined Arithmacy!"She muttered to herself under her breath. She was all alone in the class, except for Jessie. Jessie had been her friend in previous years. She seemed alone too. Jessica paused before sitting next to her. Jessie looked at Jessica. "Hello,"Jessica said cheerfully. "Hi,"Jessie replied opening her note book. Today's class was all about taking notes, they could talk under a 3 inch voice. Why did teachers even say things like that? "How are you and Tom?"Jessica asked trying to break the ice. "Were engaged,"said Jessie with a smile. "Congradulations,"Jessica said with a smile. "Thank you,"Jessie said and she bit her lip a look of guilt crossing over her features momentarily. "Be careful around Tom, okay?"Jessie said. Jessica looked curious but nodded. They began talking about happier things.
Dumbledore and McGonagall exchanged looks. Standing in front of them was Hagrid's seventh year class all with singed eyebrows, and soot, and some with painful burn marks. "What exactly happened Hagrid?"McGonagall asked adjusting her glasses. "Well I was just showin 'em some teethless polar cats nothing dangerous about 'em ya know, but Ron here seems to have a Drakebird which I suppose saw the catss as a threat,"Hagrid said scratching his head. "Well, all those injured go to the infirmary Mr.Weasley kindly do not take the Drakebird to anymore classes,"said Dumbledore. Everyone shot Ron dark looks. "It wasn't my idea! I don't even like the thing!"Ron cried. The class had a race to the infirmery everyone injured in some way. Ron was glaring darkly at Kaida who was asleep.
"Really Ron you should have known better than to-" Ron silenced Hermione with a dark look. "I didn't want to be late, you stuck it with me!"Ron cried. Hermione crossed her arms. "Go this way, don't go in that room, it's restricted- I said it was restricted Mr.Malfoy!"Madam Pomfrey yelled. Draco looked at the room curiously. "Whats in there?"Rikku asked Madam Pomfrey. "A very sick student that is contagious,"Madam Pomfrey said. They waited in a line for the nurse to finally get to them and heal their burns. They walked out Draco's mind on the room. "She's lying,"Draco said. "Why on earth would she make something up like that?"said Hermione. "I bet they captured the vampire and locked it in there,"Draco said. "Why wouldn't they lock it in the dungeons, have you been to the restricted deeper parts of the dungeons there are chains and- things, they could have easily kept it there,"said Hermione. "You've been down there?"Draco said raising one eyebrow.
